The Honours Degree programmes in Finance are accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ), thus granting them full recognition by the Hong Kong Government.
Our Finance Programme
As Hong Kong is one of the world’s leading financial centres, the demand for professionals in the field of finance has always been robust. With rapid advances in fintech, this strong demand is expected to rise further. Moreover, Hong Kong with its historical and geographical position is also the premier financial centre of the greater China region. This combination of identities poses a unique condition demanding personnel with skills which differ from traditionally trained finance specialists in the West. To address these demands, the Faculty of Business’s finance programmes aim to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to not only manage existing financial issues but also the distinct cultural, political and complex economic elements of the region.
